Design Brief
Designers were tasked to create a cohesive look for the urban runner. Submit three separate designs made for the target consumer described below:
URBAN RUNNER The urban runner was born to move, and their preferred trail is pavement. Whether to a meeting across town, or fitting in a midday mile, they are ready to commute through the city. Function and style are priority to them and they are always on the lookout for the next great innovation in product.

Color and Material Design
Parameters
a. Use the existing design from the Puma Provoke to create a brand new colorway with new colors and innovative materials
b. Use the mood board template to include the images you used to inspire your colorway design.
c. Fill in the color palette boxes to show your choice of colors side by side. You do not need to fill in all the boxes if you do not have enough colors
d. Please explain your color story and inspiration in the space provided next to your moodboard.

Apparel Design
Parameters
a. Design a futuristic and innovative unisex running track suit made for the urban runner. You can choose to draw your design on either the men’s or women’s silhouette provided on the following pages.
b. The design should highlight bold technology and progressive styling with callouts describing these details.” Technologies from Puma may be used, but we also welcome original ideas for new technologies.
c. You can change the fit to be loose or tighter. It’s ok to revise the line art as pose stays the same. (Example: an oversized jacket design can be elongated, pants can be shortened, sleeves can be removed, etc)
d. Add color and color blocking (Example: collar and cuffs are different colors than body)
e. The design must include PUMA brand logos somewhere on the tracksuit.

Footwear Design
Parameters
a. Design a futuristic and innovative unisex running shoe made for the urban runner. You must include the lateral and outsole views of your hand-sketched design, in full-color. Your design must also fit within the box parameters provided on the next page.
b. The design should highlight bold technology and progressive styling. Technologies from Puma you may used, but original ideas for new technologies also welcomed.
c. The design must include PUMA brand logos on the upper and outsole.
